Quell allen Übels war das Potentiometer, welches die Position des Gasgriffs ermittelt. In den Foren und auf Facebook haben sich schon viele über das Ruckeln der MT09 beklagt, aber keine Hinweise das dieses fiese kleine Bauteil für so viel Leid verantwortlich sein könnte.

Am Wochenende war dann auch wieder bestes Wetter um das neue Poti zu testen. Sonntag dann ca. 350km problemlos gefahren. Und Silke lacht wieder unterm Helm – so muss Moppedfahren sein![:]

[:en]After a long Year with terrible coughing and bad driving experience Silke smiles again. One Year, where the MT was bucking, sometimes did not respond at all to release very rough the power. Sometimes the bike was dying at low RPM.

Reason for all that was a little Potentiometer, which determines the Position of the throttle. (Ride-by-Wire concept). In some Forums and on Facebook people complained about the bucking, however we could not find any hints that this beasty Poti could cause all that trouble.

At the Weekend we had best weather to test the new component. On Sonday finally we drove 350km without any issues. Silke isfinally smiling under the Helmet again – this i driving motorbike at the best.[:]

Der Plan war ein deutliches Plus an Leistung. Daher hatte ich im letzten Jahr die S1000R sowie die MT10 Probe gefahren. Der Motor der MT10 ist ein Kraftpaket und der Klang macht süchtig. Aber irgendwie hatte mich das Handling nicht 100% überzeugt.

Bestellt hab ich mir auf der Messe die MT09 SP. Also quasi keine Änderung der Leistungsdaten – jedoch hab ich auf einen Schlag fast 20kg abgenommen. Und das sollte dann für noch mehr Handlichkeit sorgen. Jetzt darf der Händler erst noch etwas Zubehör verbauen und wenn die Temperaturen sich in einen vernünftigen Bereich begeben, werden ich den Bock in Hamburg abholen.

Jetzt fahre ich praktisch den gleichen Bock wie Silke. Nur in einer leicht anderen Bauform. Wenn mir DAS einer im letzten Jahr gesagt hätte. Glauben kann ich das immer noch nicht…[:en]Normally i don’T like shopping. But at the weekend i made a quick buy on the exhibition in Hamburg.

The initial plan said: substiantially more horsepower. For this reason i tested last Year the S1000R as well as the MT10. The engine of the MT10 is massive and the sound makes you to hear more. But some how the handling could not convince me 100%

For this reason i ordered on the exhibition the little MT09 SP. Basically  no change at all to my current bike regarding the power – but at least i lost 20kg of weight. Now the dealer can put some more equipment on and as soon as the temperatures are reasonable i’ll pick up my new bike  in Hamburg.

Now i own basically the same bike as Silke does – just some minor modifications. If somebody would have told me THAT last Year – i still can’t believe that i did that…[:]
