The idea to escape from winter is more common as we expected. The travel agency showed us many Hotels, however most of them had been already booked out between Christmas and New Year. But thanks to our special whishes and the fact that we do not like to be right next to the beach we found a nice Hotel. Our criterias: Spa, no young children. Now we are at the Marina Club which hopefully meets our requirements 🙂

What a Weekend!
The guys at the “Rappodetalsperre” did some good stuff to turn the Harz into an attractive area. The Megazipline, a giant suspension bridge, and with 70m the certainly Germany largest swing as well as Wall-Running creating a really nice leisure park. On our way to GroĂź-Dölln we decided to stop there and try the Megazipline which will take over the lake. Connected to a steel wire and flying with 90km/h down to the valley does not get close to the feeling when you hit turns fast with the motorbike, but it was a nice experience.

When we came to Hamburg we first had some trouble to find the Train station, due to heavy roadworks in this area. After this there was a big delay to load the vehicles. Finally we got the information, that the person in charge to load the train is not showing up due to an accident). As a result of that: The Motorbikes are not allowed to get on the train! This morning summer startet with 78°F and now the preparations for our tour can start. Parts are ready – this morning i tested my camera on the RAM-Mount and must admit: I like it!
First i was convinced that the mounting is too big, however now i can say that the RAM mount is just stable and very mature. Wih the mounting the camera can be adjusted easily and now the lens is where i like to have it: on top of the dashboard!
Tonight i will get some new tires from Cathi and after this my Hornet is ready …
