[:de]Nie wieder werde ich mich melden um freiwillig Blinker aus dem Zubehörhandel an ein Mopped zu schrauben. Bei meiner Hornet war das ja in Klacks. Aber Silkes MT-09 ist da schon ein ganz anderes Kaliber. Um die Blinker anzuschrauben muss das halbe Mopped zerlegt werden. Ich bin ja nur froh, dass ich dafür den Motor nicht rausnehmen musste.

Insgesamt durften 26 Schrauben weichen, bevor die neuen Fahrrichtungsanzeiger ihren Platz am Mopped finden konnten. Und dabei sind die eigentlichen Halter nur geklemmt und nicht verschraubt.

Dafür hat sich die Mühe gelohnt – die neuen von „Highsider“ sind gut verarbeitet und machen echt was her.[:en]This was the last time i volunteered to mount some stuff to my wifes bike! At my Hornet it was a piece of cake to mount the turn indicator – however the MT09 is a way more difficult animal.

To replace the original lights i had to disassemble half the motorbike. I am happy that the engine could remain in the frame. In total it was necessary to remove 26 screws, before i could mount the new indicators. Despite of the fact that the holder for the indicators is not even fixed with a screw!

At least it was worth it – the new ones from „Highsider“ are high quality and they look a lot better than the original crap.[:]
